Hello everyone:

I know, it's been far too long since I've posted anything, but finally there's a new blog.

Of course I hope everything goes well with you. Very nice to have met many of you over the past few months.

Obviously a lot has happened this year, and actually only nice things. My girlfriend and I are still very happy with each other and we have recently acquired a 'family extension' in the form of an incredibly sweet dog. Her name is Maya.

There is no shortage of performances this year.                                                                      

3 months ago I received a brand new instrument, the Böhm Sempra SE40, a very beautiful instrument with all new sounds.

The instrument looks very noble and elegant on stage, with matching white speakers (and even white cables and white microphone) the overall appearance is a beauty.

The concerts in Denmark and Switzerland also went very well. Nice to finally play in Denmark again. Next year's Tour is already planned. The Danish audience is still as enthusiastic as I can remember. I'm already looking forward to next year.

I also regularly have performances and concerts with Christoph Alexander, a great German tenor. With his wonderful voice and the beautiful sounds of my Böhm, we conquer the audience with our show 'A world trip with the music of André', a tribute to André Rieu. Our shows are often accompanied by our Violinist Janusz Bulka.

The nice thing is, we are finally bringing this show to the Netherlands for the first time, on December 15th in the beautiful town of Baak in Gelderland. It will be a spectacle with, of course, some appropriate and atmospheric Christmas music.

There are three of us performing, so our violinist is also there. I will of course let you know as soon as ticket sales have started, so keep a close eye on the website and Facebook.

Martijn Martell and I have also joined forces and are steadily working on our show Music and Magic. A show full of illusions and music. Martijn is a top entertainer and I have had the opportunity to work with this enormous talent before, it is a treat every time
